Osprey’s syncro 15 is designed for long bike rides far from the maddening crowd. Even at speed in rough terrain, the pack carries well thanks to osprey’s airspeed suspension system. The mesh back panel is supported by a light wire frame for a cool, comfortable fit. The stretch shoulder harness mates with the padded mesh hip belt with built-in wings to stabilize the load. Upper side compression straps add more stability when need be. Front panel access to the main compartment gives you a complete view of all your gear and eliminates digging in the bottom of your pack. A small front organizer pocket and dual stretch mesh side pockets give you plenty of storage options. There’s also a zippered scratch-free pocket to safely house your eyewear and a tool pocket for trailside repairs. An internal reservoir sleeve holds a 2.5 liter hydraulics reservoir with magnetic bite valve retention. This translates to easy refills and Constant sipping. The hydrajet is a children’s pack just large enough to carry an extra layer, a snack, and a 1.5 liter hydration reservoir which is included. Although sized for kids, this pack has features also found on osprey’s adult sized packs. The mesh back panel provides ventilation and the fleece-lined shoulder harness is comfortable all day long. A webbing hip belt with mesh wings and a sternum strap keep the pack stable, even when the wearer is running full tilt. Access to the main compartment comes via a zippered front panel making for easy packing and unpacking. There’s a bungee on the front panel to store an additional bulky layer and provide compression when the pack isn’t fully loaded. An external hydration sleeve makes for easy refills and minimizes the chance of spillage inside the main compartment so there’s always a dry layer available if the wind picks up.

Things at Osprey move full circle, starting with the people, resulting in the product and then back to the people for the lifetime of the product. Many of us live in southwest Colorado near Osprey’s headquarters in Cortez. From the streets of Buenos Aires to the foothills of the Andes, Osprey’s Farpoint 70 is ready for anything. Go ahead and fill it up with heavy mountain gear. The LightWire frame suspension transfers the load from harness to hipbelt. A mesh backpanel improves ventilation and the mesh on the harness and hipbelt reduces chafing under load. The entire suspension stows away under a zippered panel creating a sleek silhouette for transport. Unzip the lockable sliders to access the main compartment. Inside there’s a mesh pocket for small items. Dual compression straps keep cargo from shifting during transit. Outside you’ll find a zippered front panel slash pocket to keep you organized and sewn attachment points to lash on extra gear.
