The osprey skimmer 22 is a classic daypack-large enough to fit everything for a full day in the great outdoors but without any unnecessary bells and whistles. Frame sheet suspension spreads the load across the entire mesh back panel and a stretch harness and hip belt reduce the weight on your spine. Dual side compression straps provide stability during dynamic movement. A wide zippered front access panel means you never have to dig for anything buried at the bottom and the 2.5 liter fluid reservoir with a magnetic sternum bite valve attachment give you easy access to hydration. There are plenty of storage options including a scratch-free zippered stash pocket for electronics or sunglasses, a zippered front organizer pocket with a handy key clip, a front panel Shove-It pocket for an extra layer, and zippered hip belt pockets. Final exterior touches include an ice axes loop and trekking pole attachment system.

The ever popular Talon Series has truly become Osprey’s legacy pack and has defined the pack category of lightweight, high-performance, multi-sport packs. While updating these packs for 2014, Osprey was careful to maintain all of the features, fit and style that have contributed to this series’ success. Updates include lighter weight and design adjustments to enhance comfort in each volume.

Since its introduction in 2008, the Exos Series has become a standard on the Appalachian Trail and with ultralight enthusiasts not willing to sacrifice comfort. Our AirSpeed suspension, torso-specific sizing and ergonomic design all contribute to bridge the gap between comfort, fit and light weight. The Spring 2014 redesign benefits from Osprey’s never-ending search for the latest technology in materials and hardware as well as innovative design. The comfort and support of the harness and hip belt are drastically improved. Updated materials and hardware provide a lighter weight pack and the lid, key straps and attachment points are all removable.

The women’s-specific osprey kyte 36 is at home anywhere on the planet. With a separate zippered sleeping bag compartment and external sleeping pad straps, it’s a fully functional overnight pack. Or cinch down the straightjacket side compression straps and take it out for a day exploring the Canyon country outside of boulder, Utah. Whatever you put inside, osprey’s light wire frame transfers the load to a comfortable spacer mesh harness and hip belt. This innovative suspension system ensures all-day carrying comfort, especially in warm conditions when the airscape mesh pack panel comes into play. When it comes time to unpack, the main compartment has top loading or side zip access providing multiple portals to get at your gear without struggle. Other storage features include top-lid and under-lid zippered pockets, side and front stretch mesh pockets, and two zippered hip belt pockets. Along with the extensive pockets, there are dual front daisy chains and web attachment points on the top lid for anchoring gear to the exterior. Other useful features include an external hydration sleeve, tuck-away ice tool loops, and osprey’s stow-on-the-go trekking pole attachments. The entire pack can be shielded from the elements by deploying the integrated rain cover.

The suspension is designed for moving light and fast: a foam frame sheet spreads weight across a ventilated mesh back panel for lightweight comfort. The stretch shoulder harness provides a contoured fit and the webbing hip belt is removable to shave ounces. If you end up carrying extra weight, top compression straps lend extra load stability. Access gear in the main compartment via a zippered front panel. You can slip small items into the dual side mesh or harness pockets or stash a layer in the front fabric Shove-It pocket for quick access. Bike-friendly features include a hydraulics lt 2.5 liter reservoir with magnetic bite valve retention, internal bike pump storage loops, and osprey’s innovative lid lock helmet attachment system.

The Kestrel series has been developed to cope with any-trail, any-season. In wet weather and heavy downpours the built in rain cover provides protection. During hotter conditions the adjustable AirScape backpanel keeps you well ventilated whilst offering the load support you require. The spacer mesh harness and hipbelt ensure a supportive and comfortable load carrying solution. Whilst the adjustable torso length means the backpack can be altered to fit you perfectly. For overnight trips attach larger items such as a sleeping pad on the lower external straps and put your sleeping bag in the base compartment with internal zip divider. Keep the rest of your gear neatly organised with the hipbelt and lid zipped pockets and access the main compartment easily with the single side vertical zippered access point. Need your hands free for a short scramble? Our unique Stow-on-the-Go system means no more on and off to store your trekking poles, just simply pass the poles through the two elasticated loops for an easy hands-free solution. The single ice axe loop may prove useful in winter conditions and wet jackets can be stowed away from the rest of your gear via the front stretch pocket. The dual side compression straps keep your load tight and under control.
